Life Lessons: Choosing Insurance Because Life Isn’t a Cartoon
In a letter to The Great Pumpkin at Halloween, Charles Schultz writes: "When you rise out of the pumpkin patch that night, please remember I am your most loyal follower. Have a nice trip. Don’t forget to take out flight insurance.” Given that "The Complete Peanuts" was written in the early '60s, insurance has been important for a very long time. Recently, I left home on All Hallows Eve and these words popped into my mind. I had just bought furniture, rented an apartment and started my first job. These things make me feel very grown up and the fact that I am no longer covered under my parents' insurance is scary.
Fortunately, I spent some time looking at various insurance choices before I left home. I think I'm sorted. I started this blog to outline the most important information I found. I trust you find it useful. Thank you.
